Joel Guzman began his journey as a coffee producer accompanying his father, a successful coffee grower himself, to the farms from a young age. At age 18, his father entrusted him to manage his own section of the farm, beginning his career overseeing his own crops.

In 1994, Joel struck out on his own, stating the joy of working his own land was immeasurable. In 2008 Joel was introduced to specialty coffee thanks to the Cup of Excellence competition in Honduras which he and neighbouring farmers have been inspired by.

Now as a result Joel not only has immense satisfaction in the work he does but gets to support his family all thanks to the high quality coffee he produces. We’re lucky to have his coffee here at Shake and we can’t wait for you taste PINEAPPLE, BOYSENBERRY and GREEN APPLE
