You know when we buy from El Salvador we don’t muck around. This is one of our favourite origins and we are super excited to share this parent of our beloved pacamara – MARAGOGYPE! Maragogype is known as the elephant bean – Huge and low density which requires a careful hand while roasting. But the reward is an extremely sweet and textural cup of coffee. At Finca Noruega the care and consideration poured into the fermentation process is second to none going as far to carefully control the PH level of the water to create a clean and restrained fermentation which maximises sweetness and prevents distracting boozey flavours that are often attributed with natural processes.

The result of they’re hard work is a coffee that tastes like JUICY BLUEBERRY, sweet DRIED APPLES, PEARS and decadent PECAN PIE. This coffee will show you exactly why we’re suckers for El Salvador.
