Peru: Rosa Mego, Washed Bourbon

Rosa Mego’s connection to coffee started as a child growing up in a farming family in Cutervo, Peru. Together with her husband, they began their own farm, El Eucalipto, named for the eucalyptus planting initiative through the Andes. In 2018, with the guidance of Caravela, Rosa began to produce higher quality lots improving both her processes, her family’s livelihood and of course has led to some incredibly delicious coffee for us lucky enough to drink it. This washed process Bourbon tastes like PINK LEMONADE, ROSEWATER, APPLE CANDY and APRICOTS and we are so in love with it.
